Once again the IDC5 CAR 71 software update includes the best of TEXA’s multi-brand diagnosis dedicated to cars and light commercial vehicles. Its use guarantees the availability of a large number of diagnostic developments, special functions and technical information that are essential in order to complete even the most complicated workshop operations professionally.

Thanks to this release 63 makes have been updated. For 51 of these makes, moreover, new diagnostic systems never released before have been developed, affecting over 900 models. More than 1,100 diagnostic systems have been developed, involving over 250 systems. Furthermore, the work of TEXA technicians has been once again focused on further enhancing the coverage of the active safety systems, the so-called ADAS, constantly increasing in modern vehicles.

RCCS 2 with CCD sensors for vehicle ride control
The RCCS 2 calibration unit, a complete and professional solution ideal to carry out all the calibration operations on cameras and radars, is available with an innovative ride control kit, offering customers an even more competent service. In fact, this solution further simplifies vehicle alignment with the calibration unit and allows checking its conditions directly and promptly. The kit includes four CCD electronic measuring heads equipped with infrared sensors to install both on the RCCS 2 unit and on the wheels using the four-point rim-clamping system.
The high accuracy of this system is also guaranteed by using the TOE AND THRUST ANGLE CHECK*, a software application that allows carrying out two types of operations in a few simple steps: a quick check of the alignment of RCCS 2 with respect to the vehicle’s thrust angle and the workshop’s worktop, but also a check on the wheel toe. These procedures are essential in order to prepare the vehicle for the following phase during which the cameras and/or radars are calibrated.
