UNLOCKING DIAGNOSIS FOR PROTECTED VEHICLES: MERCEDES-BENZ ADDED STARTING TODAY

For TEXA customers in Europe who have the new IDC6 diagnostic software and are subscribed to TEXPACK, the service is now available to fully and unlimitedly access diagnostics for vehicles from the renowned German brand.

TEXA continues its great efforts to ensure its customers can perform diagnostic operations, even for vehicles equipped with protection systems on their electronic control units. Thanks to its ongoing and successful collaboration with manufacturers, starting with the new IDC6 CAR 2024.01.00 update, it is now possible to perform authenticated, fast, and easy diagnostic interventions on both cars and light commercial vehicles from Mercedes-Benz. This important new feature, dedicated to the European market, adds to the brands that TEXA has already made available, including: Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Bentley, Chrysler, Cupra, Dacia, Dodge, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, KIA, Lancia, Lamborghini, Maserati, Renault, Seat, Skoda, Volkswagen, and Volkswagen commercial vehicles.

The new functionality is already available, at no additional cost and with no limitations, for all repair professionals using the new IDC6 diagnostic software, subscribed to the TEXPACK CAR service, and with a personal account to access the myTEXA portal. Through a very intuitive guided procedure, which, for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, must be performed by each workshop operator, it only takes a few minutes to create a profile and validate digital identity.

“We’re excited to announce the release of authenticated diagnosis for Mercedes-Benz vehicles with access restrictions,” said Igino De Lotto, Marketing Manager in TEXA. “This is another important milestone that further strengthens our offering for the European market of independent repairers. We’ve been working closely with manufacturers for years because we believe it’s essential to ensure all operators have secure, authenticated, and unlimited access to vehicles, helping to preserve expertise and reinforce our leadership position in the diagnostics market.”
