The important recognition was received as a supplier for the Lamborghini Revuelto.
TEXA received an extraordinary recognition on Tuesday July 2nd in Wolfsburg, historic location of the Volkswagen headquarters, winning the Group Award 2024 as best supplier. Among the hundreds of worldwide partners of the German giant (owner of car brand Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bentley and Bugatti), the award went to the ten that distinguished themselves the most. TEXA was the only Italian company in the list, receiving in particular the title of “Local Hero” for the supply of inverters (a front dual and a rear single inverter) and of the vehicle control unit LCV for the fabulous hybrid supercar Lamborghini Revuelto. The award was presented by Silvano Michieli, Chief Procurement Officer at Lamborghini.
TEXA was praised for its great technological commitment and manufacturing flexibility in developing these sophisticated electronic components, which are the brain of the electric propulsion in the vehicle as they manage its power and operation. In order to produce these parts, last September TEXA inaugurated the new e-Powertrain plant, dedicated exclusively to electric and hybrid propulsion, a stone’s throw from its headquarters in Monastier di Treviso. Fruit of an investment of more than 20 million euros, it covers an area of over 24,000 square metres and is dedicated to the production of axial flux electric motors, other than inverters and vehicle control units. In addition to Lamborghini, TEXA is also a supplier for other prestigious brands of hybrid and electric supercars, covered by trade secret.
