Another prestigious partnership, with a top-level brand in the world of engines powered by renewable and sustainable fuels, which confirms TEXA’s great work in research and development.
A new, prestigious collaboration for TEXA, which can boast, as of today, a new supply agreement for Dumarey Softronix, the division of the Belgian multinational that deals with electronic control units, controls and software solutions, present in Italy with a research and development centre based in Turin that employs more than 700 people.
TEXA has developed a specific diagnostic protocol for the control unit of the new Dumarey engine, a 6.6L V8 engine that is fully powered by hydrogen, a valid alternative for decarbonisation that eliminates the emissions of carbon dioxide. The diagnosis dedicated to this innovative engine can already be found in the recently released IDC5 MARINE 18.2.3 software, available for all TEXA customers.
“The agreement with Dumarey – says Mario Giacomella, TEXA Bike and Marine Product Manager – is very important for us. We’re talking about a multinational that designs and develops extremely sophisticated and high-performing engines and software, with an approach focused on flexibility and sustainability. The new technological partnership confirms the quality of our diagnostic solutions dedicated to marine propulsion, an industry in which we’ve been active since 2010, even when they are applied to new generation engines powered by alternative fuels, such as hydrogen in this case”.
